Webster, Texas – The Breast Diagnostic Center at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center recently showed off its beautiful, soothing environment and full-field digital mammography technology to physicians and their staffs.

The Breast Diagnostic Center, located at 200 Medical Center Boulevard in Webster, recently completed a $4 million renovation project which includes:
 

• Full-Field Digital Mammography 
   We now offer full-field digital mammography, which displays an electronic image of the breast on a computer screen. The radiologist can customize the image electronically.

• Integrated Computer Assisted Diagnosis (CAD)
   Specialized computer software assists radiologists in analyzing mammograms which show potential abnormalities. CAD highlights suspicious areas for the radiologist to examine further.

• Total Look CAD System 
   A specialized mammography film digitizer.

• Updated Ultrasound Equipment
   In conjunction with mammography, ultrasound is used to further evaluate breast tissue.

• Inhouse Biopsies and Bone Desnitometry
   Stereotactic breast biopsies can be performed by a radiologist inhouse. A bone density exam evaluates for osteoporosis. Body Mass Index (BMI) can also be requested.

• Breast MRI Now Available

• Beautiful Dressing Rooms
   Our beautiful new dressing rooms, complete with pink kimonos, are designed with patient comfort in mind.

• Patient Satisfaction Rate at 98 percent
   We treat patients as if they were our family and it shows when 98 percent of patients are “Very Satisfied.”
